Description

Valve lockouts are simple and effective in order to prevent unauthorized operation of valves. Valves come in a huge range of shapes, sizes and methods of operation. Whether you have Ball Valves, Gate Valves, Plug Valves, Globe Valves or Butterfly Valves; their method of operation determine the lockout device for the valve. Several valves are manually operated via a handwheel / lever / wrench or the valve might be power actuated e.g. electric motor, hydraulic or pneumatic actuator. Regardless of the method of operation, all valves can be locked out by our various available lockout solutions.

GATE VALVE LOCKOUT
Virtually indestructible valve covers.
Once locked, they rotate freely around the hand wheel & prevent the valve wheel from being turned.
The strong polyurethane plastics make them resistant to cracking and abrasion.
They are resistant to extreme weather and temperature conditions.
Available in 5 sizes ( Red colour ) Other colours are available on request (minimum quantity applicable).
Padlock holes are available in each gate valve lockout device.
Withstands temperatures from - 20°F to 200°F.
Unique knockout center accommodates OS & Y or “rising stem” valves.
Hasps and padlocks can be used to lock these lockouts.
